Think about now many female athletes there are in the ncaa over the last 8 years when this crusade all started. How many have gone against a male?
Two things can be true:
People born as male should never compete against women
And
The amount of people that have actually experienced this is statistically insignificant

"That swimmer"? Are you talking about Lea Thomas, who competed against Riley Gaines in the NCAA's? His coming in first kept a swimmer, name / school forgotten, from winning an All American medal, as the top 16 swimmers earned All American honors. She finished 17th. Had Thomas not been allowed to compete, she would be an All American. Something she had trained for her whole life. As a male, he was a mediocre 330 'ish. As a "female" he won several first place honors .
