Why would anyone go to that death trap of city (Morgantown), if they didn't have to? that's not snooty, that's common sense.

I've been to Morgantown for a WVU-VT game. I DIDN'T feel safe. And VT cares far more about UVA than WVU.
And they went 9-3 in their last 12 games against WVU. I think WVU cares more about getting it's arse kicked on a regular basis by the Hokies than the Hokies cared about kicking your arse.

not my friends who went there. They see no point in talking shite with UVA people but are quick to go at it with WVU fans. Ive been to a game in blacksburg and their fans were pretty fricking bad.

The end of the Nelen era and Beamer era was starting to heat up. The last 4 games were 2-2 when the program was back moving again. Would have beat them the last time we played if Pat White and Slaton start that game.

It's not Boise State's fault the system is skewed in college football. They deserve a chance like any other team. So go Broncos.

I definitely am. Boise State is bad for college football, so it is VT's responsibility to end this crap early. Plus, Boise is a legit threat to be in the title game; Virginia Tech is not. My hate for Boise far surpasses my hate for ACC football, so I hope we see a complete beat down.

I guess you'll never know.
FWIW - I've got family ties in that area - and I've been several times voluntarily. My dad used to have a cabin out near Cheat Lake and I LOVED visiting that area.
ETA:
FWIW - I've been to home games for LSU and WVU. While the tailgating doesn't come remotely close up there - the atmosphere in the stadium (relative to its size) and intensity of the fan bases are comparable... amd I never once felt unsafe up there.
However - I don't think I'd voluntarily go to a WVU basketball game.
