He is a good player that was thrown into a clown show.

He finally has a competent coach and the benefits have arrived.

Didn't look average yesterday.

Better athlete than I thought.

Also very scrappy and brings his lunch pail. Think his dad may have even coached.

His WRs however are extremely average.

His offensive line HS has largely been a disaster also. No line, no WRs, and Joe Judge isn’t a great recipe for a young QB.

He’s been better this season, but he’s still average. He averaged something like 175 yards passing in the Giants 9 wins. He only threw for more than 250 yards three times this season, and two of those games were against the Vikings.

His stiff arm and cut back yesterday was a thing of beauty.

All facts, but something seemed different yesterday. He seemed like his balls dropped or something. Played aggressive and mean. Anomaly? Maybe. But it was fun to watch, and he's got a big opportunity next week to prove himself.

With the current state of NFL qbs, he's put himself at least in the upper half.

Daboll did a helluva job scheming dudes open yesterday, and Minnesota’s D is a sieve. Hard to overreact just based on one game.

I don’t think the Giants know what his future is yet.

Seems to be turning into a poor man’s version of Josh Allen.
Came here to post this

If he stays healthy and dangerous in the running game and the Giants continue to get better (and they have a lot of growth left), he's more than good enough to game manage deep runs

And honestly game managing a roster that's not quite ready is winning football

Yes, he won yesterday, of course he’s good. If the Giants lose next week he’s no longer any good.

Dabol is great with qbs. He’s the one who turned Josh Allen into what he is now and he’s done great with Daniel jones as well

He has the right coach to make him a better QB. Josh Allen wasn't the best QB when Buffalo drafted him. Daboll knows what he is doing and don't be surprised if you see Jones take bigger strides next season.
