A hefty fine... As in the equivalent of what being suspended last year would have been.

He fricked up by not paying them off early after this shite broke.

He let it fester and rot, like an SJW vagina.

For what? Getting handjibbers from literal prostitutes with a masseuse license? Serious question

In a criminal court yes … not by NFL or public opinion standards

The Texans didn’t hold him out. Hell, David Culley was just on a podcasting saying that if Watson wanted to play, he would have played last year.

That was kind of a back door agreement between the league, Watson, and the Texans.

If Watson played, it would’ve forced the league to do something (likely place Watson on the commissioners list), which no one wanted. So by basically creating this faux version of the commissioners list, it protected the league from direct criticism for making a decision on Watson, protected the Texans ability to trade Watson, and secured Watsons paychecks and ability to back away from the spot light while everything sorted out

Kind of in agreement with you here. Cops were never involved until push came to shove which raises auto red flags already.

Couple that with two convened grand juries and neither opted to charge him. Either Rusty is the best attorney out there or those girls were lying through their teeth.

And for the record, Rusty is one of the best here in Htown.

the criminal part went to a grand jury and they didn't find enough to bring him to a trial

It's an incredibly hard burden to prove, especially if the women remained with him and saw him multiple times.
Plus, they waited a long time (in many instances) to report.

Time Serve? Past generations would have hung this predator by his testicles until dead. Now we just need to know when this snake can get back on the field.

Let’s see if any player plays nice during an investigation going forward if they don’t count it somehow

He hasn't served any time yet. So sure, factor zero time served into the punishment.

NFL is all about optics. No way. Ray Rice was going to be back on the field until the video leaked. Then he never played again.

8 games MINIMUM to let the talk die down. But probably a season.

frick that weird bastard. He needs a season. Not a slap on the wrist. Counseling to find out why he likes his anus or “inner glutes” massaged. And counseling to stop frequenting whores which is what this was in some cases. Anything to stop the activity. Because if there is word of this ever happening again he is done.
