IF Ohio State is riding a 25 game winning streak there is 0% chance they are left out of the BCS National Championship

There's a pretty good chance actually. Undefeated PAC 12 and SEC champs would easily go over OSU.

Only if Bama goes undefeated. Otherwise the mulligan clause will have them jump OSU

Undefeated SEC champ is in no matter what. That is obvious. We're talking about the other spot.

Depends on who the undefeated PAC12 champ would be. Oregon probably. Stanford? UCLA? No way, OSU goes over them.

The "OSU never losing a game under Urban Meyer" would be the argument for OSU IMO.

Really? That's the argument?

Congrats on making the biggest reach in this thread. That has what to do with this year again?

And Michigan didn't lose. That was by far the worst game they'll play this year. I wouldn't expect them to look half that bad again. And trust me, I love gloating about Michigan's shittiness more than anybody on this board, but that is just weak as frick. Its pretty common for good to great teams "almost" lose games they have no business losing, especially after or leading up to big emotional games.

Northwestern 34
Mississippi State 20

Yes, Michigan almost lost to Akron. They're the first ranked team in the history of college football to shite the bed and pull out a win against an inferior opponent.

I'm just gonna throw out that barring 3 or 4 teams being undefeated, an undefeated OSU gets in easily. Bama has a terrible schedule also. If Bama loses one game, they aren't getting in over an undefeated OSU, Oregon, Clemson. It just isn't happening this year, IMO. If the SEC doesn't have an undefeated team, they might not get one in.

Also, this is the one year that I think OSU has a legitimate shot at beating the SEC in the BCS CG. Unless Bama and LSU's defenses improve greatly, OSU's offense would have a great chance of success.

It was a joke man.

Thats what Golic said after the game

Agreed, but the LSU-Bama championship game was just as bad. From what I have seen this year...

1.) Undefeated SEC team
2.) Undefeated ACC team
3.) Undefeated PAC 12 team
4.) Undefeated tOSU
5.) Undefeated Louisville
6.) 1-loss SEC

ACC gets the nod over the PAC 12 for their strong showing vs the SEC in OOC games. tOSU and Louisville's schedules are not strong enough to merit a spot in the game, unless everyone else stumbles. With that said, I can easily see a Clemson vs Oregon title game.

I don't think an undefeated L'ville gets in no matter what (they will point to how they played against Kentucky, the worst SEC team, as they should).

I think it is going to be hard to justify someone jumping over a 25-0 OSU team. Stanford has not looked impressive this year at all, so if Oregon doesn't look good against them, that would count against them I'd say. If you asked me where OSU should be today, based on injuries/who they've played and beaten etc. I have them at 4:

1. Oregon - smoked 2 BCS teams like they should have, although neither are that great
2. Bama - Have the best win of the year, but have been somewhat exposed thus far (they will fix these problems)
3. Clemson - 2nd Best win of the year, and are legit

If it got to this point, I hope someone just makes the playoffs start early and we get undefeated ACC vs undefeated SEC in the Sugar and undefeated B1G vs undefeated PAC in the Rose...PLAY IT OUT

If Oregon and tOSU both go undefeated and so does Bama.

Oregon and tOSU should have a hastily arranged playoff game - winner face Bama. TV can do this. Prelude to next year.

Otherwise, poor tOSU is getting left out. Polls are taking Oregon FTW.

1-loss SEC should only be behind Undefeated ACC and PAC 12 IMO

Agree as of now. If OSU starts blowing teams out by more than 20 (although 20 should be good enough for most people), maybe they will get some more love.

Oregon needs to look good against Stanford IMO. Do you think an undefeated Stanford jumps OSU? That is intriguing to me

Why would undefeated Oregon deserve to play in the game but undefeated Stanford/UCLA wouldn't? If Stanford/UCLA goes undefeated there's no doubt they should be in the title game. They would have gotten through a much tougher schedule than OSU.
