Our 06 team struggled a LOT during the season too, but we ran Ohio State off the field in the title game.

I'm talking about current national title contender Bama/LSU. LSU was awful in 08 and Bama was mediocre in 07.

The answer is it depends on how other teams do throughout the season. The BCS did not make a mistake last year. Really don't know how you could justify any team over ND last year. If it's similar to last year (but OSU replacing ND), OSU will and should be in the NCG.

ND vs Purdue is like LSU vs Arkansas. Purdue always plays their best game of the year against ND.
There is a fricking ton of the season left to play out. Some teams will improve, some will fall by the wayside. These threads make me laugh.

Yes and if Climpzin or FSU goes unbeaten they will go. I don't think a SEC team will be unbeaten. I also think the East will win SECCG this year, there's not been surprise winner in last few years.

According to some on here the 12th place SEC team deserves to be in over OSU tho.

People overvalue the entire SEC and undervalue specific teams as a whole.
Case in point Oregon yesterday and Climpzin opening weekend.
I agree the SEC has been best but they're not clearly the clear cut dominant conference this season.
I think that the SEC should follow Delaney's (even though he's a moron usually) lead and schedule road no conference games with name programs.
People bang on Va Tech and Big East etc., but they'll play on the road and do it regularly.

I don't think they lose 3. I think they compete for championships. They have the same talent and speed as the SEC teams.

I think they would. I guess you don't understand how much better the SEC is compared to the Big Ten. I don't care about Jan 1st bowl games either. There is a reason there are so many SEC teams in the top 15 compared to the Big Ten.
