how can you be so sure UGA and SC would beat them? You SEC fans are too much sometimes....neither of those teams look dominant this year and OSU is more than capable of beating either one. What's UGA's OOC record the last few years btw??

When is the last time OSU even came close to beating a top SEC team? (Arky is not a top SEC team, btw)

Also, for the record, I'm not someone who thinks the SEC is far and above everyone else. There are plenty of non-SEC teams that I think can for sure hang with the SEC. Oregon, USC a few years ago, and Clemson fall into this category. Currently, Notre Dame and Ohio State do NOT. Both would be blown out of the water by LSU and Alabama.

Urban is a good coach, but not THAT good. You think he's instantly turned OSU into a team that can hang with the best of the SEC? Nothing can happen that fast. Hell Saban lost to ULM his first season.

I think in a few years OSU will be back with college football's elite but you guys aren't there quite yet.

Arky was clearly the 2nd best team in the SEC that year

No fan of an SEC team other than Arky has ever called Arky a top team.

Thanks for confirming idiot status. Yes, Ohio State could lose to the teams you've listed but to say they aren't among the elite of college football is ludicrous.

Those teams could also lose to Ohio State.

So, if we're being ignorant and all:

Since Arky beat LSU 31-23
and tOSU beat Arky 31-26
we can gather that tOSU>LSU by 13

tOSU beats a top SEC team.
Your argument? No longer valid.

Not the same thing at all. I'm merely saying that allowing an unproven team with a weak schedule into the title game is bad, as proven by last year's title game blowout. It's pretty simple to me, to make the title game you have to have some quality wins. Not beating a single top 10 team, well that does not seem title game worthy to me.

Arkansas doesn't count, they're still a SWC team.

In order:

Undefeated SEC team.

Undefeated ACC/PAC 10 team

2 Loss SEC team

Undefeated OSU

Undefeated Louisville.

I would agree with this myself, but probably switch 2 Loss SEC team and undefeated OSU.
No way a 2 loss SEC team gets in over a undefeated OSU. Louisville yes, OSU no.

Well everyone on this site had them losing to 4-5 of them. Especially to OU, Stanford, Miami and Michigan.
