Sanders, according to Fox 8, was pulled over on 71 North around 12:24 a.m. on Tuesday by police. He was cited for driving 101 mph, which was 41 mph over the posted speed limit

in my county, you'd be serving 48 hours in jail for that. Must be nice to get a citation as if the fine and points makes him bat an eye

Why is there so many stories of NFL players (cough) going over 100 mph all the time in 60 mph zones. Even 125 in a 60. Why? I rarely see 41 mph over speed limit in real life, and I've driven next too far many more people than there are players that exist in the NFL.

you don't want to know the real answer. I'm grew up in memphis and this happens every day and they aren't NFL players doing it

The act of your odometer hitting 100 mph isn’t a big deal. I’ve done it plenty of times.Situations matter, for instance, it’s 6:30 in the morning and I’m on a 3 lane interstate in the left lane and I need to get over to the right lane and no cars are in front of me, but cars are behind and on the side of me, it’s easier for me to speed up and go around. Which entails me hitting 90-100 because it doesn’t take much for my car to get to that speed.

So the car you are driving matters, I barely press down on the pedal on the interstate and I’m going 80.

None of this excuses reckless driving. Going 100 for long periods of time, swerving in and out of traffic at these speeds, driving these speeds while it’s raining or any other stupid things.

Edey’s speeding infraction occurred May1, but it didn’t get blown up in the media like Shedeur’s. Wonder why.

Maybe Edey is somebody that didn't have a media circus created for him. Maybe the average person has never heard of Edey.

ESPN article says only a $250 fine. Seems kind of low for going over 100mph.

Probably because Shedeur Sanders has 50x the popularity of Zach Edey.

Not Sheduer's first rodeo

quote:

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders was pulled over for going 101 miles per hour in a 60 speed limit zone. However, it turns out that was not his first time receiving a citation since he was drafted by the team less than two months ago.

Per the record from Sanders' citation, the rookie fifth round quarterback was also pulled over on June 6th in Medina County for another speeding ticket. And it does not end there. Sanders then failed to appear in court after the citation on June 16. This is two days prior to being pulled over for his most recent traffic ticket.

Cant wait for he and his family to come out and blame everyone except Shedeur for this.

It's the cop's fault for pulling him over, PD's fault for the arrest getting out, media's fault for covering it, etc.
