He’s constantly asked about Sanders, I don’t think he offered this up unprompted. He didn’t want to shite on the guy. Just trying to praise his players. What’s he supposed to say? Shedeur ain’t gonna be shite?

Y’all play but Shader is the truth and you know it. When he wins an MVP in two years you will see the light.

Shedeur Sanders finished the 2025 season with an 18.9 QBR, which ranks as the fifth-worst single-season mark among 696 qualifying quarterbacks since ESPN's metric was created in 2006. It was statistically a historically poor rookie campaign, highlighted by the lowest QBR average in Cleveland Browns franchise history for any quarterback with at least six starts.
If Shadeur’s the answer, that’s a hell of a question

He's a media creation. If his last name was Thompson nobody would care. Coverage to talent is disproportionate and creates insane expectations where he's neither mature nor ready to live up to it..

I wanted him to do well in the same way I wanted to see Ryan Leaf do well, but it, too often, leads to disaster.

He will be out of the NFL in less than 3 seasons from now.

He’s an entitled little shite living on pedigree.

he is who he is as a qb, but for browns, he's their best option, and it aint even close.

i said it last year, he should start, and the huge project from Oregon should sit and laern, and hope he can be an NFL qb. Live and die with shadeur, he gets blown up, no biggie, he cost zero draft value. He chucks it, makes some plays, he becomes the full time starter, or does enough that some other team might trade for him.

starting either of their other qb's makes zero sense, you have no better of a shot winning with them.

If he produces I'll eat creaux.

Right now I don't have animosity toward him. I just think he's an overhyped nepo baby and his fanboys are annoying.

You're saying that Shadeur is miles ahead of Deshaun Watson?

He's saying that so he doesn't have to listen to Deon, trying to come in and have a meeting.

No one wants Deon around

Monken was also complimentary of Watson, who is healthy after tearing his Achilles in October 2024 and missing all of the 2025 season.

"Deshaun's athleticism shows up," Monken said. "Obviously he's had that, but he's had injuries that have set him back. I wouldn't say it's a surprise, but it's exciting to see -- it's a weapon for him. It's one of his superpowers, his athleticism."

watson is bad, and actually doesn't give a shite if he wins or loses, he got paid, and is living it up.

So yes, i'd rather have sanders chuck it, and if you draft high again, find your qb, cause none of the qb on the roster, are your future qb. Sanders isnt that guy either, but he gives you the best chance to actually move the ball. Watson and 3rd stringer are not good. And aint moving shite.

sanders cost a 5th round pick, he can be scrapped quickly, if it fails. your on the hook, cap wise for a lot with watson, and they wont give up on the former oregon/ou qb. yet.

live/die with sanders for 1 more season, pick high in 27, this wasnt year for franchise, qb in draft
