Every decision they make is a “financial one”. They’re so afraid of the luxury tax and they keep pinching pennies. It’s like a guy who isn’t making three fifty but tries to act like an OT baller and only eats the appetizers and drinks water at Michelin 3 star. Clay Bennett obviously doesn’t have the horses to compete with guys like Lacob, Edens, Ballmer or Arison.

Sell the team.

Jeannie Buss should think about doing this also after Ballz and West dragged their sacks across her botoxed face

The Buss family has never been cheap.

Do Clippers fans realize the Lakers have won more championships than the Clippers have qualified for the playoffs?

Is this where we point out Donald Sterling was literally a cartoon villan, and your best shot at Jeanie Buss is making fun of her appearance?

SDV talks about the Lakers more than the Clippers.

one year ago, and all it got them was a first round exit

Oklahoma City crosses an historic threshold as the first $300M team in salary and projected luxury tax with the Raymond Felton signing. The Thunder now have a tax bill of $150M.

Larry Ellison is a Bay Area guy. It would make more sense for him to move them into the newly available Oracle Arena.

You're talking about when they let Harden go. Which was ages ago.
Have you seen the list of teams paying the luxury tax the past few years?

He was in line to buy the Warriors but Lacob brought in Gruber and jacked up the price. And then Ballmer took the Clippers from under his nose.

I love hot takes

You want to punish the city who hasn’t finished worse than 15th in average attendance every year since their inception? Yeah, brilliant move!

Why sell the team to move? Sell to another investor that will spend the money and keep them in OKC. The Thunder were 15th in attendance, why do you want to punish the fan base?

They're also 18th in NBA valuation. If any teams should move, it should be the Pelicans or Grizzlies. I'll give New Orleans a pass because they've been pretty shite only making the playoffs twice in the last seven years. But Memphis has made the playoffs seven times in the last nine years and they still aren't making any money. Memphis is not a good market for a NBA team.

all they've had is good teams.

Let's see their attendance when they suck before we crown them
