I would have kicked just to calm shite down.
If you can score in the first 5 minutes of the second half, 31-10 is at least somewhat manageable. You're gonna need at least one turnover either way.

This. Get points for mentality. Like okay, we score after half we are down 3 scores instead of 5. We get a few stops and a turnover we are back in business. Team as a whole, from the players to the coaches, especially Pete are totally unprepared.
