He is, but he chose playing college in Austin, TX over all the schools in the Northeast including hometown Georgetown. KD appears to love the Midwest.
Yes, I'm sure he signed with Texas, not because it was a very good basketball program at the time (Final Four in 03, Elite Eight 06, the year before he got there), but because he knew at 18-19 year's old he wanted to live in in the Mid/SW playing for a team that didn't exist yet
Not everyone's goal is to play professionally close to where they grew up, I was just pointing out he is in fact from DC. Anyway, unless The Thunder dismantle the team or something I don't see why he would leave since they are legit title contenders and have been the last 3 years, unlike LeBron's situation in Cleveland. They have a good organization that has found good players to put around him.

Touché.
And yeah, Cleveland was bad minus LeBron. And the organization is even worse.
Different story in OKC thankfully.

This week is prob the hardest week yet. All the tough games last week were at home, all of the games this week are on the road.
Would any record this week surprise anyone (except for 3-0 because that would be extremely good with the 3 teams on the road)?

0-3 would be just terrible. I know the Bulls are playing well but we should be able to beat them without a doubt. I'm expecting 1-2..

But the Bulls are usually so good at home against the good teams. Interested in Noah/Howard

We beat them by 30 last year on the road and by 20 the only time we played them this year(at home). It would be a terrible loss imo.

2-1, we are catching OKC at the right time
Posted on 3/10/14 at 12:57 pm to Boomshockalocka
It's a different Chicago team, just like this is a different Rockets team. Losing to the Bulls, especially on the road, isn't a "terrible" loss.

Apparently I hold the team to a higher standard than you do.
At this point in the season they shouldn't be losing to anyone other than the elite teams. There's too much to play for.

2-1 would be great. 1-2 would be ok. 3-0 would be orgasmic. 0-3 would be a disappointment.

The same power rankings that have HOU as #1 have Chi at #7, OKC at #5 and MIA at #4....all elite teams IMO

Chicago is in not elite imo.
MIA
IND
SAS
OKC
HOU
LAC
Maybe you could toss Portland in there too.
