ESPN has made one bad move after another lately. First it was Fowler leaving Gameday (although I think Davis could be good) then they don't renew Simmons' contract and now they are getting rid of their best radio show! Mike & Mike's show is garbage and should have been cancelled years ago.

Apparently loads of people love Mike and Mike. I can't stand it. Everything is a cheesy gimmick or an advertisement for something.

Fowler is awesome as an announcer so I am fine with that.
Mike and Mike is awful but gets good rating because it is on during peoples morning drive.

Yeah, I was discussing the Simmons thing with my bro...he said he heard Simmons wants like 6 mil and they won't pay it. I responded that with Grantland and 30 for 30, I can't believe he is not worth like 10 million per year. He said Simmons' projects don't get advertisers like Mike and Mike - for some reason, they pour a lot of money into that show. I guess it is safe corporate radio.
