Rams going all in this year and will likely be down for at least a couple years after this year. Let’s see if it pays off like it did in 2022

Will laugh when this team flames out in the wild card round.

Why is this labeled a 'bomb' when everyone knew he was signing right after camp?

Why did I already think he was back for the last few months?

Makes my decision to draft the Rams defense in fantasy even better.

Saints fans made this argument too. It can work as long as you nail the draft and avoid injuries and have great QB play. At some point the bill does come due however.

I seem to remember you and SFP arguing that you can always kick the can down the road with the cap.

Yes, with the caveat that you need to nail the draft, have great QB play, and avoid injuries. What the saints did was smart for the Brees final years, not so much when they made the same strategy for Derek Carr led teams.

Yeah they gave up all those picks to win their last Super Bowl and drafted so well since it hasn’t mattered.

I’ve been waiting for him to announce his return to Pitt.

It was heavily speculated, but wasn't official. Now, it's official with a contract signed.

There are ways to give yourself more life each year but the can kicking removes future ability to make moves which gets worse every year you do it.
I don't think the Rams are doing a full can kick, mind you.
Hell they may have gotten their QB of the future who will start on his rookie deal at some point, saving them boatloads.
The Rams are the most well run team in the NFL and have been for a while.

The rams are probably the most leveraged roster in the league
