Why pay him $20 mil? Seems odd, obviously they have the space. But are you telling me he doesn’t come back for $12-15? Did anyone else even offer? He’s been out of the league 2 years?

31 other teams would’ve offered him even more to come out of retirement.
He could’ve not come out of retirement and stayed chilling in retirement, I’m sure he negotiated about that made it worth getting in shape/risking injury for while making it work with the rams cap bc he wasn’t going to play for anyone else

He’s 35 and hasn’t played a down of football in 2 years.

Even if he’s not, he’ll probably be a pretty effective player, especially lining up next to Myles Garrett
