If the Bears don’t make a serious run they need to force a sale of the team.

If he is traded, I hope he goes to the NFC. Seems like all the good young QBs are in the AFC these days. Jags about to add another one too.

As if the McNairs didn’t have enough problems with the fan base.

What Watson is complaining about is what a significant portion of the fan base is complaining about.

Miami here I come...

If the Dolphins were smart they would trade Tua and a few picks for Watson...... and Houston would get #3 pick.... like Houston is gonna do much with it.......

Yup. NFC doesn’t have a fun stud worth a damn right now. Just mediocrity.

AFC has all the quality young QBs.

Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, and Watson, their 3 best players in franchise history, all have issues with the organization. Watt and Watson both want out, definitely the Texans fault

Would Schefter just go off of agent chatter?

Schefter is a legit insider because he has sources at all levels of the league.

Others like Rappaport are agent mouth pieces. They don’t have a lot of sources to verify info, and will report any rumor they are told.

The Texans are in a bit of flux right now with a new GM and no coach. Schefter’s usual Texans sources might be out of the loop of the new regime, but he’s not the type to report something because an agent wants to start a rumor.

Watson’s feelings

Who gives a shite about his feelings. He's an employee and a multi millionaure who wants to tell management how to run the place.

A bad season, followed by a loaded draft where you have 0 early picks. He knows it is a couple of year rebuild to be competitive as his prime years fly by. A trade would benefit Watson and give the Texans some pieces and draft picks.

If you were the most important employee at your company and you knew your manager was a massive frick up you'd say nothing to the owner? Really?

I’m not sure you even know what’s going on in Houston..... sure he signed a contract, but the organization did a crappy job of supporting what he needs to fulfill that contract.

Did you read the first half of my post?

While Watson signed, I’m sure the front office fed him a huge load about what they were doing with the roster.

And then they dumped their biggest piece besides Watson for pennies after having blown a ton of picks plus a huge extension on Tunstil.

Not saying I agree but I certainly understand.

Did you also read the first half of my post?

I think Atlanta is the one place that could get him and give up picks and be worth it

The Bears can’t absorb the cap hit.

Atlanta has the WR and Ryan can come off the books. Now will whoever be willing to mortgage for an all in

No.

Atlanta is already nearly $50MIL over the cap. Getting rid of Ryan would add 40 more to the cap hit. That and they only have 21 players under contract.

Ryan is a Falcon through at least next year.

I don’t get this at all. Isn’t he under contract for like 5 more years? Why trade your young franchise QB you’ve been searching for for 15 years?

Makes no sense.

This to me seems more like other teams and the media hyping this up to cause even more division so that they can get in on the Watson sweepstakes.
