@AdamSchefter

There is a growing sense from people in and around the Texans’ organization that Deshaun Watson has played his last snap for the team. It’s early in the off-season, there’s a lot of time left, but Watson’s feelings cannot and should not be underestimated.

Would be best for the Texans to get rid of him.

Ok would you not think this is a plant by Watson’s reps? This report is driving the price down for a trade.

What if the Jags trade #1 (TLaw) and some other picks for Deshaun?

Deshaun would be stupid good with Urban

Look, if the greatest player in team history is slamming the organization and how they waste talent, I won't blame Watson one bit if he doesn't want to see his career wasted away there.

Would Schefter just go off of agent chatter?

Jets fans on my twitter feed are all over this

@SeanFennessey

In 2017, after a 5-11 season with Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB, the Jets passed on Mahomes and Watson to select a safety 6th overall. The team then entered the season with 38-year-old Josh McCown (to groom Christian Hackenberg) and finished 5-11 again. Please trade for Deshaun, thanks.

I hope they can trade away Watt to a contender for a draft pick

No chance. You'll have TL on a rookie deal while you build the rest of the roster.

Was talking about Andre Johnson's rant.

If I’m @deshaunwatson I will stand my ground. The Texans organization is known for wasting players careers. Since Jack Easterby has walk into the building nothing good has happened in/for the organization and for some reason someone can’t seem to see what’s going on. Pathetic!!!

LOLOLOL

I'd make him play the contract out, then if you can, franchise tag him.

Or have a proven elite franchise QB in his prime...

Still a risk TLaw isn’t any good

ETA:

They still have a bunch of picks and like $100m in cap space

I’d rather have the cap room and draft picks than the QB that may be trying to Harden/AD his way out of town.
