It's also odd that he says that the people will have to wait until his lawyer has a chance to defend him
if he was innocent he would have said wait until all the facts were known, not "let's see what Johnny Cochran defense my high dollar lawyer can come up with before you consider me a monster!"

Does Louisiana law allow for imposition of the death sentence in cases of rape of minors, or was that overturned?

it seems like this monster is just asking to be put away for life.

I don't support mob violence, and I'm generally anti-death penalty. That being said, Sandusky's house might need to be paid a visit. Suicide is too good for this punk. He won't last a month in general population.

He needs to go out like Gaddafi. If it happened, there's no way that a district attorney who has to stand for election would bother to investigate his demise. And even if he/she did prosecute the perpetrators, they wouldn't be able to find a jury that would convict in Pennsylvania.

you heard how he hesitated when asked "are you sexually attracted with little boys?"
Hesitated is the understatement of the year. He took ten seconds of stuttering and rambling about having fun with boys before he point blank stated he's not sexually attracted to boys.

Where in the country can they find a jury? They could maybe move it to Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.
Maybe Texas since its likely he molested a boy there..... please let it be Texas.... that would be awesome.

There is too much going on behind the scenes, I think he has something to offer as a deal, such as info on the missing DA or other big names/powerful people who are involved. He still sees day light at the end of the tunnel.

wow first rule of lying is respond to the question with a question.
"are you sexually attracted to teenage boys?"
"am i sexually attracted to teenage boys? (think of lie) No i am no"
I was talking about this with my roommate. You can tell his lawyer sitting there was just cringing waiting to hear the word "No" and it just took so damn long to come out.

Pretty sure the Supreme Court overturned it.

If there ever was an appropriate time to tell some "kill yourself", I think this is it.
Kill Yourself Sandusky.
Kill Yourself Sandusky.

No. That gives him satisfaction and an easy way out.

Didn't read the thread, just wanted to offer my .02.
First, I think Sandusky's lawyer did the right thing by letting him do the interview. I also like that he went big (Costas on a network broadcast) and that he didn't limit the questions and let Sandusky answer without interruption (at least that is the way it was broadcast).
Sandusky had to come out with a strong denial and answer questions as he has already been convicted by almost everyone. Despite not believing him one bit, I thought he had handled the interview well until the final question that he butchered and sealed his fate. Stammering about for the right words to a question about whether he is sexually attracted to young boys is remarkable. An immediate and emphatic "NO" was the only appropriate response.
Second, the other interesting part is where the attorney claimed to have located the boy McQueary allegedly saw in the shower being raped and that the boy (now a man) will testify that they were just "horsing around." I suspect Sandusky showered with several boys in that locker room that we don't know about and possibly didn't rape several of them. If so and since McQueary and PSU officials did nothing to identify that victim at the time, his attorney could easily contact one of the other boys Sandusky showered with and claim that is the boy McQueary saw Sandusky with.
