Negative. Kid is a good player in this league that made a mistake. he will learn and get better. Time to move on.

If the same play had happened mid game people would just bring it up along with 3 other reasons we lost the game. Drew throws some really stupid passes sometimes but most of those don't come at the end of a playoff game.

I've been saying the same thing. Drew played like absolute dogshit the first half....Marcus played great for 59 minutes and 50 seconds

Williams was going for the flashy highlight hit , not a basic tackle

he should be cut

I said earlier I would trade him

Get the frick out of here man.

Marcus is one of the best rookie safety's in the league, maybe the best.

Dude has enough talent to be an all pro.

We aren't even IN that position if not for Marcus.

frick out of here.

I don't hate the guy unless they find proof that he did it on purpose, then I'll hate him

And, this is the biggest we have ever seen on this stage

Not even close. The last Superbowl had a wayyy bigger choke job.

The Russell Wilson pick in the SB was way bigger.

A divisional round choke can NEVER top those.

I have yet to see a single person say he shouldn't receive criticism for that play.

We need less fake, dumbass fans like you.

Are you retarded? He's a good, young player who wouldn't clear waivers.

What would cutting him solve other than making the Saints worse?

No.

But did he make one of the the worst mistakes in NFL postseason history, Yes.

Let’s just say Darren Sharper does not make that mistake in 09.

Hating him would be retarded.

It was an inexplicably awful play. Among the worst in NFL history.

But it was a football play. Not a character test

The character test came after, and he far exceeded any expectations one could have for a rookie

of course i don't hate him.

but he's at the bottom of my list of favorite current saints and it would require a Porter-esque play for me to forgive him for that.

He's got all the time in the world to make up for that play. Brees doesn't have the luxury of time. Head up, wrap up is like the first thing they teach you in peewee football.

ETA: he's extremely lucky this happened in New Orleans. 95% of other fanbases would massacre him.

It was a bad play that cost us late. But the two int. Drew threw didn't help either. I say first home game this coming year everybody wear number 43. What kind of message would that send to our players. Lets do this.

I dislike the alignment

I also agree with the idea of tackling all receivers in exchange for time

It was an awful mistake, but hopefully he gets over it. He doesn’t deserve to be attacked over it. The worst part is the Saints were probably the best team left that could take out the Patriots in Super Bowl. Now Patriots probably easily beat whomever advances from NFC.
