Simmons and Russillo were fantastic. Russillo's standalone pod also great. Life Advice was awesome

I was a dedicated Simmons and Russillo podcasts listener but I got tired of the repetitiveness of their content
Simmons has become more arrogant and smarmy, Russillo seems irritated and sarcastic all the time.
what drove me away from RR was his constant arguing both sides of subjects at the same time. Just pick a side and express your beliefs, making both arguments is tiresome and hard to listen to

Yeah when I was still listening I just skipped through the cold open bc it was always some circular “okay so this is why this argument is dumb. But also maybe it’s not so dumb. At the end of the day it’s a lot of things and we’ll just see it play out” for 40 minutes
Worst would be his NBA rants where he spit off a billion random stats and examples to show how much he watches, then would wrap it up with “maybe this means nothing, but maybe it means something too”
He’s so concerned about not being a “take” guy he forgot to give himself any sort of opinion in the process

TBob was doing national stuff too before going to Barstool. He is really good and has been a budding star since his night show with the gay guy on WWL

Rewatchables is getting thin. They're running out of films, and Simmons' unwillingness to do science fiction type films is going to be the death of that podcast. They also don't do enough classic films and way too many chick flicks recently.

The only time I hear anything about RR is when Big Cat or PFT bring him up. So this is only fitting.

I like Russillo but attach Barstool to anything and I lose all desire to listen or watch.
