Extremely happy to hear this.

I still think that this incident was handled strangely. They were very quiet with condition updates. Really, because of that I was believing that the recovery would be long and rough. Next thing, he's walking out to the parking lot. Oh well, can't complain!

Glad to see he’s doing well, however, these photo ops are so corny..

Why is it, that in 2020, people feel like they’re entitled to personal medical information? Why did there have to be a timeline for that info to be released? Are you a part of his family?

Every picture I have ever seen of Ryan he is either at a race/pit area or with his daughters. It's corny to say but I think he has two things he loves in life - racing and his daughters.

One of my favorite pictures with my two boys is us walking together holding hands at Disney while my wife hung back to snap a pic. Totally happened without any rehearsal.

Some of you need to get over being hyper critical about everything.

Damn, and 36 hours ago we were waiting on pins and needles in hopes that he was still alive. That's amazing.

This was serious condition?

Right there with you. I'm glad the man is ok but it seems that maybe a little more was made of his injuries than really meets the eye. The media and racing enthusiasts made it seem as though he may never walk again and certainly career threatening. Looks far from it to me.

probably because it was a horrendous looking wreck where after his car slammed into the wall, it flipped over and was stuck in the driver's side door by a car going about 190mph before sparks and flames broke out. Then, it took a while for him to be extracted from the car, shields were put up, and no word on his condition was released for a couple of hours.

Then you quite obviously didn't see the wreck.

All that I said was that they were corny. People do anything for a great photo for social media these days - and most of the time, pics like this are 100% set up

This. Some of these people are acting like his car got backed into in a parking lot while parking.
