Hopefully he shares these accolades with Steven Adams who has let him grab a lot of those bullshite rebounds that lets him average the triple double

Lebron:

1st in minutes played
1st in total points
2nd in total assists
11th in total rebounds

Westbrook:

1st in total assists
4th in total points
7th in minutes played
8th in total rebounds

Absurd.

meh, if he was already that close might as well go for it.
In 30 years people will only remember the back to back.
And they are better off when he grabs the rebound anyway.

All the credit in the world to Russell for achieving this, dude represents competitiveness and intensity at the highest level, if he wasn’t so inefficient and aloof in presentation within the team context he’d be one of my favorite players in basketball but I acknowledge greatness when I see it and dude balls to the max.

It's a great accomplishment, but it's a lot easier now than 40 or 50 years ago.

He’s so good tonight that he’s going to get his local announcer fired for firing off some racially insensitive zingers when he got excited

Russ is the most stat-conscious player in the league. It’s easy to get 20 rebounds when you tell your teammates to let you get all of them. And go down the court with no intention of ever shooting but just looking to grab assists. Don’t get me wrong he’s a great player and plays with a ton of energy and heart but he’s also wel aware of how many more boards or dimes he needs every game to get a triple double.

Think you got rondo confused with Westbrook.

Considering Westbrook takes the most shots per game in the league.

Cuz it’s a body on a body down low already. And the opposing PG isn’t going to follow Russ’ arse down into the blocks.

James doesn't care about individual accolades. He was voted best by the players and has BBQ's at his mansion with the rest of the team.

That makes sense more than you trying to argue its not. Adams boxes out whoever to ensure they get the rebound.

That is what Robin Lopez did his whole career for his teams'

I was more talking about tonight’s game where he knew he needed x number of rebounds and assist for the season triple double. He was gonna make sure he got that no matter how the game turned out.
