What Russ has done is nothing short of amazing. There had only been one person to avg a triple double in an entire season only once in history and that was 55yrs ago. And here is Russ doing it for the 2nd year in a row. A once in a lifetime talent we should all just sit back and soak in, because we have been able to witness something historical we can tell our grandkids about.

To put in context: Russ needed 33 rebounds the final 2 games. He got 17 against Miami and has 17 in 22 mins vs Memphis tonight.

Yeah I mean who gives a shite if he poaches rebounds? If it were that easy to do, I assure you someone else would have.
This was considered a “never again” achievement by most NBA minds until last season.

It’s pretty dang incredible. On top of that, Lebron is averaging 28, 9, & 9 at 33 years of age.
I don’t think we should be wowed that much more by Westbrook because he’s averaging one rebound and one assist more per game.
Two pretty remarkable seasons and neither of them will win the MVP. Just crazy (but also correct).

this is funniest thing to me. People say oh they clear out and let russ get rebs, or oh he took 40 shots.. well why isnt the other team blocking him out? Why isnt the other team stopping him. When he is avg 27/10/11 or whatevee each season... i dont care how you try and twist it. That is helping your team in all aspects of the game.

The fact that some people try to minimize him averaging a triple double is just insane.
