Keep in mind he is only being criticized because he is being overrated by many. I’m all about accurately rating all players. If no one is overrating them I won’t need to set the record straight.

If the MSB has taught me anything it’s:

DWade’s B-ball knowledge < Boom’s

I’m far from the only person who is down on westbrook. Why do you think he gets no love for MVP. None. everybody that bought Into the he has no help narrative is scratching their heads after they get Paul George and don’t get any better. only a few knew he had help last year but doesn’t get the best outta his mates. You know who is in that number.

Because him averaging it isn't rare air anymore.

Same with brees breaking 5k. It's an arbitrary number that was considered rare, then a player breaks it repeatedly and it doesn't matter as much anymore in eyes to people, yet nobody else is going to obtain it.

Recency bias.

just voter fatigue man. The voters need to shake things up, or it would be bron,kd,curry, westbrook every year. Voter fatigue is real.

Voter fatigue was last year. media didn’t wanna give awards to three guys from the same squad. They were only 3 seed after all. Not the one.

My main takeaway from this thread is that Boom has been VERY appreciative of Westbrook in this Russel Westbrook appreciation thread.

Very!!!

Not rare air, for him. I should have added that part.

It's not a surprise when Westbrook gets a triple double, it's seemingly expected by people. So when he averaged it again, it's not as special as last year.

I think it's still phenomenal, if it was so easy everyone could do it.

You know who got better in the Paul George situation?

The Pacers.

How do we feel about Paul George? I'm pretty low on him at the moment.

Well we said his stock would be at an all time low after this season months and months ago.

Newsflash: when you play with Westbrook, you not gonna look as good as you do once you get AWAY from him. He is a PG that dominates the ball either doesn’t know how or is unwilling to get the best outta his teammates.

PG didn't look all that good last year when he yelled at teammates for taking the last shot when he himself couldn't hit shite either.

I'm not sure if stats back up my assertion, but he just seems off these last 2 years. Even though he's obviously really good, I'm not sure I want the guy on my team if I want to win a ring.

The less people around to take credit off of the guys who are on the current team, the better. The guys on the roster now are my guys. I want THEM To win the title. Not for some other guy to jump on a train that is heading for a championship anyway and try to piggy back and take some of the credit from James. Mike. Daryl. Etc.

That chris Paul. Needed to jump on the wagon.

Know what team Paul George would fit well with, the pelicans.

Him and AD would be fun to watch together

Too bad that'd never happen.

All that talent with no playmakers to make it easy for them. 4ish seed probably.
