I used to have a lot of success running the counter play out of the gun. Need a fast RB to make it work though.

The dives are money. The sweeps, counters, and QB runs are iffy at best. That toss play out of the gun is guaranteed to be tossed behind the running back causing him to do a stupid animation that takes him backwards then get dropped for a loss of 7.
I find that the offset formations are much better for running than the normal formations are.
