you're 84 miles away from a venue with an additional 40k seats.
That’s not Tulane’s home stadium though

And apparently LSU should forfeit millions in revenue to appease Tulane’s ego

I thought part of the UA board allowing the new stadium to be built was a "We promise we aren't trying to go P5, and if we do you'll shut us down again." Though I guess one could argue that the PAC is no longer P5, it's still fairly close.
The new stadium was built by the BJCC, Jefferson County, and the city of Birmingham. The UA Board of Trustees had nothing to do with it.

USF and WSU in the same conference. They should grab Hawaii and Harvard too then.

Maybe there is a drug the players can take for traveling long air travel.

How long is that going to last? 1 or 2 more years?

Honest question since I am not knowledgeable about this: have any Fun Belt or Maction teams been poached or rumored to be leaving their respective conferences? I like watching those weekday games

So I’m sure LaTech fans will turn their noses up again at the SBC,
Lol…Where do you get this BS from?! You sound like a nut-job from the RaginCajun die-hard site.
If you speak with any reasonable Tech fan, they would agree that playing regional universities like Lafayette, Arky St & back to playing SoMiss, etc would be desirable matchups. The SBC has done well, no disputing that.

La Neck can die in C-USA. Pompous pricks deserve the slow death.

Are you serious?
La Tech’s AD on his views

Why did you photoshop a Louisiana Tech background behind the Rice athletic director?

Tech's ADs comments were gratuitously condescending. Just a terrible look, most of all for Tech.
But time passes, things change.
When Tech joined C-USA, it was pretty regional for them: Rice, UAB, USM, Tulane.
What killed that league, I would think, was the TV deal. Not so much the money (which was bad) but close to zero exposure. Sunbelt wasn't paid much money, but they were on the ESPN network.
CUSA must have had the worst commissioner in history not to do better than what they did.

Banowsky was mainly interested in helping members move up to a better conference.
Not a bad thing for the schools but definitely bad for the CUSA brand.

So let me get this straight, our old AD makes some dumbars comments a few years ago & you immediately lump all Tech fans in with this prick? Man, y’all are a sensitive bunch. Probably a real blast at parties too.
