You can make an argument that the Sun Belt is almost equal to the Big 12 if not better. 3-0 against Big 12.

Imagine chaos at the top like notre dame beating clemson again ,bama beating florida,not enough games for ohio state to play in the big 10 championship,and aggie loses next week .

Rolf I literally made a post today before this broke asking why none of the G5 undefeated teams had done this.

If you have an undefeated team at the end of the season that beat all the remaining undefeated teams they would have a great case for a playoff spot. As it is not none of them are going to sniff it. Imagine if Cincy or BYU went on a run in December and beat the other and then Coastal Carolina and Marshall. Cincy would be in the playoffs. BYU maybe but they’d have a much better shot than they do now.
I guess for these loser G5 programs going undefeated and claiming you’re the best without being tested is better than sticking your neck out there and trying to actually make the playoffs.
