I don’t think England has the pack to stand up to RSA unfortunately. Those dudes are grown man strong.

Hoping it’s more open than the semis, both those games sucked.

Man if rugby was big here De Klerk would be a legend. He is the ultimate honeybadger.

I knew SA won, still watched it. WAAAAAY better than any NBA, MLB, or NBA product. Too many rules, reviews, penalties, BS nonsense to watch. Rugby flows much better.

With the exception of the one little guy that was absolutely everywhere, everyone on that RSA team looked to be about 6’6 265.

Unfortunately rugby has a lot of that too.

I was so confused by this bump. lol.

Tangent/Rant:
Too bad the US is now a borderline Tier 3 country and will be sitting at home. I watched the recent European tour matches vs Romania, Portugal, and Georgia. You would think with nothing to play for they would play a ton of new guys with an aggressive game plan. They did against Romania, lots of new caps, very aggressive attacking and on defense. Then it was back to the same old strategies and a soft backline against Portugal and Georgia.

Still excited for this RWC. Should be a fun one since it's the most wide open competition in a long time with the top teams much more even than the past few RWCs.

will be arriving 3 weeks from today

This is truly a RWC up for grabs, unfortunately the pools are a train wreck.

The QFs are going to be (NZ vs Ire or SA and France vs Ire or SA)...the other Pools...(Eng vs Wales or Aus and Argentina vs Wales or Aus)...lol....I am hoping for Fiji or Japan to pull an upset in the other pools

As an Irish fan, I am living the dream now...and cannot wait to crash out in the QFs as always and regret my life choices :)

That really was a glorious few days. My birth country won the Rugby World Cup and LSU beat Bama.

I could definitely see upsets on Pool C (Wales, Australia, Fiji, Georgia, Portugal). Different stage, but Georgia beat Wales less than a year ago in Cardiff.

Pool D should be a good one too. Argentina and Japan (with all 5 of their Japanese players) are both legitimate threats to advance.

This is a 4 year bump. But I think this year's matches are supposed to be on Peacock.

Seems kind of dumb to have the two favorites square off in the opening match
