Same here. Rousey bought into her team's hype that she was the baddest woman on the planet--------------until she met Holly Holm and then Amanda Nunes who both cleaned her clock with the quickness.

What amazed me at the time of the Rousey hysteria is that there were people who actually thought she'd beat Floyd Mayweather, and all I could do was laugh at how stupid they were.

When some training camp video surfaced of Rousey shadowboxing, I broke out laughing at how totally inept and awkward she looked. This was before the Holm fight and I knew then, Rousey had absolutely no "Stand-up" game to fight with a good boxer/puncher like Holm was. It was even more obvious when she met with Nunes who took her out with quickness.

The last time Gina fought was StrikeForce on CBS... And Gus Johnson was the announcer.

And Rhonda hasn't fought in almost a decade and her striking hasn't improved one bit.

If Gina has any kind of takedown defense, she should dismantle her in the feet, but she's also like 45 yrs old now, so who the fuk knows.

Just remember... Head Movement.

That's the shadowboxing video I was referring to in my post. It is so amateurish and her head stays at the same plane/angle begging to be hit.

Her trainer, Edmond Tarverdyan has a less than stellar reputation in the MMA community as a trainer and he did her no favors by not training that BS out of her before she met real strikers.

It was absolutely hilarious watching Holly Holm completely dismantle her and the image that Dana had built for her in just a few minutes. Poor Ronda was the last one to understand that it was never real and that she had been fighting cans her whole career.

The Nunes was my personal favorite because they made the Holm fight out to be a fluke. That Rhonda made the mistake of trying to box with Holly and that she would bounce back with Nunes.

Nunes legit ended her career. Her face was used as a punching bag and it was great.

She realized real quick she wasn't it. You norrmally don't see someone reture after two loses

Looking back, it's kind of surprising that she was able to beat Miesha Tate twice though. That was probably her biggest accomplishment. Though it does seem like Tate lost to pretty much everybody.

So I guess Jake Paul is promoting this fight.

Legit wonder how much each fighter will be paid. It will probably me more than reigning UFC Champs, even during the PPV points model.

Yep, just like there were those who thought Connor McGregor would beat Floyd Mayweather when they fought.

One of my casual friends was adamant that McGregor was going to KO Floyd and I tried my best to get him to make a modest bet of $100 and I even was willing to say Mayweather had to win by KO, or I'd lose------and he wouldn't go for it.

Here's McGregor, making his pro boxing debut and he's taking on an undefeated, multiple divisional pro boxing champion----------and he really thought Mc could win. It was laughable to me that people were so gullible/naive/ill-informed or whatever you want to call it.

Of course it went just like I thought it would with Floyd toying with the guy for several rounds and then getting tired of playing around and putting an end to it---------------much like a young lion sometimes does to its prey.

Carano got a fat stack of Mickey's cash from her settlement from getting fired from Mandalorian. I am sure she's fine.

This is ridiculous. She is a top 10 women's ufc fighter of all time. Factor in her boxing accomplishments and she has a really nice combatsports resume.

I thought McGregors only chance to win would be if he was able to land one good shot just because he was bigger. I never thought he would actually win.

Floyd’s gameplan was really good.

Same. Funny reading all the WWE wrestlers talk shite about her these days after Rousey was handed everything in WWE and then she shite on WWE after the fact.

She's good, but not the best of all time in my opinion. Guess you don't know about Lucia Rijker who went 53-1 between Kickboxing and MMA and had 39 KO's.

Or maybe Laila Ali whose boxing career went 24-0-----------all by KO.

Or perhaps Cristy Martin who went 49-7-3 with 32 KO's.

Amanda Nunes is 23-5 with 13 KO's

Both are currently millionaires. The Carano family is ultra rich since they have stake in Ceasars Entertainment.
