Power trip

Makes a couple of bad calls, keeps staring into the Astros dugout to find someone complaining. When Hinch complains about Kulpa staring into his dugout for the second time, he throws out Hinch and says "I can do anything I want"

Dat handled it pretty well from what I have seen. If it was the saints we would already have 30 threads about it

Max Stassi got between him and Cole at point and he shoved Stassi away. Nothing like a good #umpshow that’s what the people pay for

I couldn't give a frick less about the Astros or Rangers, but his smug face was making me want to buy a bunch of guns and write a manifesto.

at that point I legitimately think he was doing it on purpose. Astros couldn’t beat a AAA team tonight with a robo ump so I am kind of amused by it now

I've bitched for years about tedious bullshite in baseball like the unwritten rules and players getting pissed off too easily about stupid stuff, but these power-tripping "you loogin' at me?" umps are the worst.

Just replace them with technology and be done with it.

Anybody have video of him standing in front of the plate while Cole was trying to warmup?

His wikipedia entry is priceless
