Boom, with all do respect, I excluded you from the conversation because you muck it up with the masses more than the other OG rockets fans. That exclusion is just meant because I know how the pleps work, they can misconstrued a quote and I know all your lovers have everything you posted bookmarked.

warriors bench is not what it has been in past years. durant is shooting only 28% from 3pt in the playoffs.

that's all i have to add to this thread.

Curry is also a shell. He's knocking down shots, but he's not driving like he normally can.

He doesn't think the Pels are the greatest team ever...but he does think the Pels with Paul George can beat the greatest team ever.

They can keep their current team and sign minimum guys. I think.

They're not adding Paul George

No, they can't just willy nilly add a big time player, it would take trading contracts back.

What home court advantage?

Sight lines, sleeping in your own bed, familiarity, the statistical data that shows refs favor home teams

Home court advantage doesnt really come from the fans.....

I want the Rockets to win, but I'm not so sure they will.

The Warriors are extremely talented, and I'm not confident the Rockets can match that talent.

Oh, Steph's shots aren't falling? Kick it out to Klay.

Oh, Klay and Steph are struggling? Dump it inside to KD.

KD is struggling? Give it to Draymond.

The Warriors are frickin' loaded.

Lol no. Draymond cannot create his own shot and klay is also lackluster in creating his own shot.

Curry and Durant are the only guys who can effectively create their own shot off the dribble.

We saw how much golden State was crippled without curry... because he created in ways no one else could when Durant was off the floor.

This can’t be serious.

100% serious, are you seriously questioning this?

Iso plays

Durant 1.06 PPP 15.5% frequency

Curry 1.05 PPP 6.9% frequency

Thompson 0.85 PPP 4.4% frequency

Green 0.88 PPP 4.5% frequency

You clearly didn't watch the warriors with klay Thompson before curry became really good.

Klay has also improved a good bit.

Bringing up regular season games to predict a playoff series is a casual fan move.

Strongly helped by the improvement of those around him.

Utah is good. Rubio being out has been a huge issue for them, but this is no slouch of a team even without him.

Klay has definitely improved his own shot creation and his passing ability in the last two seasons.

Yeah, Klay looks terrible when you compare him two of the best ISO players in league history. But to put those numbers into context:

Klay 0.85
Giannis 0.84
Booker 0.83
Kemba 0.82
Westbrook 0.82
AD 0.81

I'm not saying Klay is a better ISO player than these guys considering systems, teammates, etc, but my point is you can't just singularly use this stat and claim he's bad in isolation.

Curry is nowhere near one of the best iso players in league history, and I'm not certain on Durant, but I'd guess he's up there.

GS is actually WAY better on D without Curry.

I agree that they are better defensively without Curry, especially this unhealthy version, but throughout the season, I doubt there was as huge of a difference as ones would think. Curry is a good defender for his position. Obviously Kerr prefers to use Klay and Iguodala because they are elite and it preserves Curry on the other end, but that's common sense coaching and not really a knock on Curry.

I don't think the Cleveland series is a good predicter of how GS will choose to defend Houston. Golden State hid Curry so aggressively because Cleveland was screening with LeBron and Curry has no chance in that mismatch when he gets switched onto him. So they incorporated "passing" Curry's man off to avoid that mismatch. That's a completely different scenario than what Houston provides.
