The crazy part is that the district said it wasn't bullying

The article doesn't specifically name Cordova, but there are other sources that do

the Pete Carroll recruiting model works best at USC: The Trojans have to recruit nationally for linemen and locally for skill players.

Those D-linemen in 2003-2005 were local kids mostly from Los Angeles County area.

Pete Carroll recruited nationally for the SKILL players see Lendale White, the receivers and RIP Joe McKnight.

It’s top heavy. Much of the rank and file sucks, but the league usually produces 1 or 2 elite teams and 2 decent teams each season. The middle and the bottom of that conference are pretty dreadful, but the top tier teams are as good as any, even if they tend ti struggle against the best of the SEC.

High school football participation has been collapsing in California and COVID sped the process up 100X. Couple that with major demographic changes and you just aren't going to find linemen in CA like you could 20 years ago.

It sounds more like the USC donor class driven by Rick Caruso turned on the money hose and the admin allowed the handcuffs to be taken off the NIL strategy after the Tennessee ruling.

Good stuff. Yep, CA is a shell of what it once was. There's so few Oline and Dline nowadays.

While the teams at the top of the big 10 are more formidable in the trenches than anything they faced prior, the mid level to bottom dweller teams are just as crappy as the Pac12 teams were, they just may have fatter linemen

I didn’t read it yet. But was it just some sort of joke and he didn’t realize that peanuts could be very dangerous?

So the attempted murderer has found a home?

How long before he tries to poison Justus Terry?
