i watched that game late summer night at my aunt's house as a kid. That shite was wild.

WS Championship for Sterling. What a legend; we should all appreciate Greatness, whether they are associated with our favorite team or not. RIP to a legend.

He did the Hawks and was a really good baseball broadcaster with the Braves on TBS in the '80s. He was enjoyable to listen to on the Braves game with Ernie, Pete and Skip. They all had great chemistry.

I don't want to speak ill of the dead so I'll just say his Yankees career it was legendary, but not in the way people normally think of the word "legendary."

Still, I'll give the man credit for having a 30-year streak of not missing a game with the Yankees. That's really impressive.
