I think there is a lot of jealousy since they feel he didn't do it the right way

That's the equivalent of a parent being a good friend to their kids.
That's great and all if he can relate well to the players, but he doen't relate well at all to the people he has to negotiate with, and that's kind of important.

i think the second we end up with lebron and AD, we will immediately become the favorites to end up with kyrie.
ATM, most think New York or Brooklyn are the favorites for Kyrie. It depends on where he feels most comfortable and if Durant wants to make a move (the Nets and Knicks are apparently hoping for a package deal).

Several opposing executives, speaking generally, said a team wouldn't surrender two first round picks to clear cap space -- such as the Nets did on Thursday -- without an indication that they have a strong chance to land at least one top free agent.
. . . .
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith said Irving has "given every indication" that Brooklyn is where he prefers. People around Irving said recently that he hadn't ruled out any potential suitors - including the Knicks - but that the probability of the point guard returning to Boston was 'low,' per SNY sources.
Other teams with interest in Irving are operating as if Brooklyn is the odds-on favorite to land him at this point, per sources.

There is undeniable jealousy there, so I'm sure he's looked at differently.
His story is very interesting to me. It would be a heralded success story if it was any other industry.

I can see that side of it, but having the contacts and clients is more than half the battle itself.

I feel he's like LaVar Ball, but with an actual job.

Right, but it's also so bad that other agents don't want to send their players to the team that his number one client is playing for, because of how he does business.

I don't think that's it in the slightest.

I don't think the hesitation with the Lakers is about Rich Paul. The Lakers FO is a mess and the bigger issue than Paul is LeBron. LeBron just has a lot of sway.

blaming Ads love of LA on Rich Paul is cute

Blaming? I'm not blaming anything. AD "wants" to go to the Lakers because of RP and LeBron, that's it. I guess I missed where the Lakers have been a huge free agent destination the past several years.

my downvoted posts turn out to be gems
rich Paul literally telling C's what his client plans to do if traded there.
I respect that honesty
