That’s one thing that really upsets me with postseason college baseball. Cut the keeping teams in a region crap out. They don’t keep college basketball teams close to home.

I like Oregon State there as well.

I would be fine with Yale having to make long trips if it worked both ways. I could be wrong on this, but it feels like the Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State folks are always in that region or California even when they are not hosting.

When do Washington or Oregon State ever get sent to Gainesville or Miami?

Oregon St is usually hosting

If anything grouping a bunch of the same regions teams together is a BS move by the committee to make sure they get eliminated

I was hoping Southern Miss would get in the top 8 but the committee has them at 9.

Maybe Florida will throw a shoe at a critical time this weekend and the Eagles can host tthe Supers (assuming they get out of the regional).

The committee has always said that 4 seeds are not going to be regionally tied. That's the shite that comes with being a 4

Second straight year our draw sucks.

We need to start scheduling some better programs out of conference as we continue to be on the up and up.

We had a great Big 12 tournament and regular season outside of one series. Our middle relief is our biggest weakness.

Fair point. It seems like it works out for the West Coast teams.
St. Mary's as a 4 is at UCLA.
My only point on it is I don't recall many (or any) West Coast schools getting sent to Tallahassee, Gainesville, UNC in the regionals.
Maybe it has happened and I didn't notice.

There's about 20 teams in the country that can afford to put an entire baseball team + staff up in a hotel in Miami, FL for a week

This is the best setup for a CWS run the Eags have gotten in awhile. I think they could beat Florida outright if it came to it

because they don’t need to send them there when there’s plenty of regional teams they can send
