ESPN was always terrible with tennis, but they've gutted the little credibility they have left.
Most actual tennis fans want ESPN to give up the Majors. I don't need Rece Davis or Malika Andrews pretending to know tennis.

Just had to do whatever big brother Fowler was doing. Must be humbling always getting Fowler's sloppy seconds. First, College Game and random college football play by play on Thursday nights. Now, tennis.
Honestly, I'd love it if Davis did tennis exclusively so that we could keep him far away from college football.

Now that they have moved off espn+ for all courts they can go frick themselves. Put Wimbledon back on NBC with the GOAT theme music

I'm sure he knows enough. It isn't a complicated sport.
He just needs some stats and facts handed to him to say during the broadcast, same as commentators do in every sport.

TBS/TNT coverage of the French Open is so much better. ESPN literally spent 10 minutes of coverage the other day with commentators talking over Serena hitting balls in practice. While there were numerous live matches going on.
