. Yeah that rule is bullshite too. Think about it. You are allowed to commit a penalty even though it subjectively doesnt affect the play since it was a subjectively unwatchable pass.

Thats like saying there was an egregious hold on the play, but it was on the other side of the field away from the ball, and wouldnt affect the play.

Thats dumb as frick.

Same. I really wanted to get into and appreciate soccer because there were really cool goals scored on both sides but they just erase them like its nothing. Really weird for the sport, you'd think they'd want more action but I guess soccer is already extremely popular all over the world so I guess they arent worried about it...
