Yeah, AJ harrassing Girardi about where he's going to manage next year was funny for the first few times in game 1.

By the 876th time in game 5, it was fricking annoying.

It was nuts in the first inning but fairly tame after that

Honestly having a 5 game ALDS probably put a few more bucks in Jim's bank account. Maybe we should root for winning the ALCS and WS in 7 games.

Crowd sucked as usual. Unless something big happened. You could see thousands sitting down waiting in the 6th inning when Cole got to a 2 strike count. Worst home fans in baseball the last 2 years. There may be a big crowd but nowhere near the electricity of Yankee stad.

I'm a little pissy because something is going on with the Verizon cell tower out in the sticks where I live, and I couldn't post in the DAT during the game last night. I had to watch the game with no interaction.

Barbaric. I imagine your dog got an earful about Kevin Cash's 352 pitching changes though.

Confirmed

Gm 1: Grienke
2: JV
3: Cole

No commitment to a game 4 starter. Team will go to an extra pitcher for the LCS. Likely Peacock at the expense of Tucker or Straw. No word on Mileys fate.

That's because we're winning the series in 3. Yankees will quit after being down 3-0 out of fear.

#Astros top prospect Forrest Whitley K’d the side in the 1st, highlighted by this wicked curve which registered over 3k RPM. He has 23 K’s in 15.1 IP for Peoria

He can't be worse than Miley. Make the call Luhnow

+1 to this plan. Urquidy starts with a short leash. It's been pretty apparent early in his starts if he has it, or not, that day. Peacock as his long relief if needed.

I'm gonna guess they'll start Peacock if he's rested in Game 4. They probably don't trust the rookie to start in Yankee Stadium and prefer he comes into the game as a reliever like in Tampa. If Peacock is still not healthy, Urquidy will start by default.

My thoughts. Peacock and abreu should be added and Miley removed. Take straw off and keep tucker. We didn't even use straw in the last series.

Agree with all. Straw's speed is an absolute weapon but Marisnick serves the same purpose and we need the pitchers first and foremost given the uncertainty of game 4.

FTR, I keep Straw and let Tucker work on next year

We have enough OFs and Straw can beat out anything Tucker is lucky enough to put in play, and will cover more ground in the OF, all the while able to play IF in a real bind
