Peter King is saying that Lamar is unlikely to sign the non exclusive tag offer. Lamar wants a long term deal which he deserves but not fully guaranteed and I doubt any team will give it to him.

Boo hoo poor Lamar. None of this is his fault. Evil bad ravens. Why can’t they just give him what he wants?

Update: The #Panthers are not expected to pursue #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, sources told @josephperson

The #Raiders are also unlikely, according to @VinnyBonsignore

We already know the #Falcons aren't on him either, per @diannaESPN

So, who's going to give him an offer? Maybe the Redskins?

The Dolphins will not be pursuing Lamar Jackson or any other starting QBs this off-season, multiple team sources tell me. As one source said, “Mike fully believes Tua is the perfect fit for his system.”

Know how to avoid being an afterthought? Win. Know how to win? Don't do stupid shite like guarantee $250M to a QB whose best football is already behind him.

Not to mention giving up draft picks

I’m sorry and I’m ready to accept all of the shite talking that’s going to come with what I’m about to say… what I dislike heavy about the NFL whenever guys like Lamar Jackson and other black athletes perform past their contracts it’s always a problem whenever it times to be paid…don’t draft the player if the character is such a concern… NFL needs to understand is an investment on both sides and the player usually lose at the end… Pay Lamar what he deserves and stopped the madness..

Jackson has averaged 14 games/season for his career, and the total has decreased each year. He has gone 16, 15, 15, 12, 12.

You play like a RB, you have the longevity of a RB. Someone is going to pay a lot for a broken toy.

What about Watson, Mahomes, and various other black NFL players getting paid? Christ Dez.

On-field production would almost be secondary to the buzz that Lamar would create in the town. The Braves and Georgia football are a juggernaut and the Hawks have Trae Young. What does the Falcons have to get the city of Atlanta excited about them? If they don't make a big move, they're going to risk becoming an afterthought in the town.

If I were a Falcons fan and they did something dipshit stupid like signing Lamar Jackson to a ridiculous deal, I’d be telling the local Antifa terrorists that there is a police training facility in Flowery Branch that needs attention.

Thankfully it looks like Arthur has learned his lesson b/c by most reports the Falcons are out on LJ.

Dez if so fricking wrong it hurts. Chiefs paid Mahomes early and look like fricking geniuses now. Philly is going to pay Hurts soon as well. Cowboys paid Zeke early if I remember right.

Fans are funny because the demand 1000% loyalty from the players yet never want to return a percent of that.

Which is why as a player you do what is best for you. frick the fans

I don't understand this. Not signing it means he can't negotiate with other teams. What's the point?

I think it's a legal way to hold out, but someone can correct me.
