2. 04 Pats
3. 08 Steelers
4. 09 Saints
5. 06 Colts
6. 05 Steelers
7.10 Packers

09 Saints were a fluke. They were inferior to the teams they played in both championship games but won due to some luck and a great onside kick call

They were inferior but beat both teams. We beat the Colts by two touchdowns

And we beat the Vikings again to start off the next season. I guess we got lucky the 2nd time also.

Inferior teams win frequently.

That's completely irrelevant

Have you ever noticed how the best teams seem to create their own luck?

Highest margin of victory in the NFL that year and higher than any of the last 10 super bowl winners

I always like to look at it this way.

We outscored the Colts 31-7 after falling behind 10-0 right of the gate.

Manning really showed off his MVP prowess against us

The Saints had the easiest schedule in the NFL in 09...

Saints were better in 2010. It was just too bad for them that Marshawn Lynch put the Seahawks on his back and told Darren Sharper to hold his d**k.

The Saints were not better in 2010. They had trouble running the ball and they lost to the Cardinals & Browns.

not even close. We were a top running team in 2009 and finished 28th in 2010. Our defense was better, but they didn't force any turnovers because sharper was hurt all year.

Point differential in 2009 = 169
2010 = 77

link? The bears had the easiest schedule

Easy schedule, followed up by beating 3 Hall of Fame QBs in a row for the Super Bowl. Not to mention thrashing Eli & Brady during the regular season.

what are you 12? I didn't look at any sos rankings, i had googled it a long time ago. There are also more than 1 way of judging sos. Looks like your Vikings were just right behind the Saints anyways yet dropped 1 (really 2) more games

How dumb are you for thinking the 2010 Saints were better than the 2009 Saints?

I'd say pretty big
