The purpose of a game is to determine who the better team is. Thus whoever wins the game is the better team.

They can definitely blame themselves for their mistakes (especially 12 on the field), but there was no doubt that the refs (intentional or not) gave the Saints a nice advantage.

You know the Saints were penalized more in that game. So if the refs were trying to hand it to them, why were they making it so difficult?

calls are missed all the time. i could probably watch the replay and pick out 10 times where the vikings dont get called for holding on will smith.

we also had almost twice the amount of penalties and almost 3 times the amount of penalty yards

More penalties for the Saints is completely irrelevant that the refs missed critical penalties that went against the Vikings.

I am not accusing the refs of trying to give the Saints the game. It was simply a poorly reffed game that may have contributed to the Vikings loss. Pretty damn simple.

McCray was fined $20K for his hit on Favre that was not penalized. Nice work refs.

Turning the ball over 5 times and throwing a pick when you are clearly in Ryan Longwell range is why they lost the game. Pretty damn simple.

I even said that the Vikings fricked up their chance to win their game, but it sure does not help when one of those turnovers should have never happened, there was a very questionable PI in OT, and the Saints may have not even converted on 4th and 1 in OT, since the ball was in the running back's possession when he was at his furthest forward point.

Forgot this one.

Special teams: MIN 48 NO 183

Vikings fans seem to forget that special team yards count too.

There was also a hit to Brees' head that was never called. Things get missed in games, deal with it.

It is simply astonishing to me that Vikings fans whine about the refs when THE VIKINGS WERE CALLED FOR 10 YARDS OF PENALTIES THE ENTIRE GAME BEFORE THE 12 MEN IN THE HUDDLE CALL.

10 frickING YARDS. For 2 neutral zone infractions. You're going to bitch about officiating when there was literally not a single post-snap flag thrown on your team for all of regulation. Unbelievable.

And yes, the Vikings had more possession and yards. Because Minnesota had 5 turnovers, giving the Saints a shorter field. And more points.

Clearly the Saints team is most impressive. Never mind beating Eli and Brady in reg season, but beating Warner, Favre, and then Peyton in SB during postseason shows how great that team was. No other SB winning team beat 3 SB winning QBs during postseason, and 5 overall in a season. Who Dat!

The top 3 teams are easily the Saints and the 2 patriots teams.

All 3 are probably interchangeable

Minnesota lakes>Lake Ponchatrain.

Clearly the better team fumbles inside the 5 yard line going into halftime.

Bust out the Vagisil.
