Any word on Pernell yet? That was scary very scary. I wanted to puke when I saw it.

His family says he's okay, just under observation. Scary scene though. May as well just save him for next year.

Anyone know if the Blackhawks-Stars game is going to be televised nationally tonight?
Should be a good one.

Great news, and totally agree with you. You know how big of a Habs and Pernell fan I am.

Slinger, did you see what happened? I was flipping through NHL net and the game was on, it was crazy.

Stars may be down 3 defensemen but I'm not sure that crappy D could get any worse. Maybe they can find a couple of young guys to have a break-thru. Russell has been solid since he got here.....and he has a great name so I would expect no less. They are up 1-0 after the first on a Spezza slap on the PP.

Stars up 4 nil halfway thru 2nd. Jaime Benn finally got a goal. Hawks pull their goalie Crawford. It was 4 zip last game too and Hawks came back and made it close at the end.

As a very new hockey fan who hopped on the Stars bandwagon last year, I'm pretty excited for playoff hockey. Atlanta didn't give me much in the area and since I moved here a couple years ago, I've realized this city is crazy about hockey. It's refreshing and needless to say, I'm pumped

Same here, been in Dallas four years now, and slowly figuring out that pro hockey is awesome! Went to the Stars-hawks game last night, the place was going nuts! Cant wait for the playoffs, everyone says thats when the real madness starts

Preds looking to extend their franchise best 14 game point streak tonight in RyJo's hometown! If they can keep this point streak running til they get back on home ice I'd lose my mind

The Thrashers were a complete disaster. Atlanta isn't a hockey town, but the team always being complete dogshit from the day they took Patrik Stefan 1st overall didn't help.
Ilya Kovalchuk and Marian Hossa were the only remotely decent things about that franchise.
