When he told his team I bet they were happy as hell for him. They all want to rise up to the next level, well Coach Prime did exactly that

I think he should have stayed a little longer. He could have got a better job.

This can't be stated seriously until he's gone. Maybe they became more relevant while he was at Jackson (I don't see how, other than more conversation which was obviously centered around Prime), but can they remain relevant without a high profile coach associated with one of the schools?

I don’t know if they will stay relevant but a lot more people outside of the southeast know about the existence of Jackson State than before Deion. He also probably did a lot to help JSU publicity and monetarily wise.
