Ohio state and Michigan are having pretty awful years and MSU is struggling

Okay losing tonight means nothing for March. I said they'd be in Final Four after the Villanova game, which they lost.

B1G games will be different for them than any tournament game. More you see a team and get 2 plus days to work on their stuff.

Lol when did Michigan and Ohio State become blue bloods in basketball?
or MSU for that matter

MSU is probably pretty close. OSU isn't all that far behind them historically.

MSU has two titles (under two different coaches in two different generations) and nine Final Fours and has had several legendary players go through there. That's awfully close.

OSU has a title (though a long time ago) and ten Final Fours. They don't have the sexiness of MSU, but they've done it pretty damn well for many years.

I'd say it's something like this:

Tier 1: UCLA, Kentucky, UNC

Tier 2: Duke, Kansas, Indiana, Louisville

Tier 3: UConn, MSU, Syracuse, OSU, maybe Villanova, maybe Georgetown, maybe Cincinnati, maybe Michigan

I wouldn't call either of those schools "blue blood". Indiana is the only blue blood in the big 10.

As someone who has always loved CBB.....it's bd everywhere, I have less interest in it than ever. I've tried to watch a bunch of "quality" matchups in all different conferences and it's just bad bad basketball
