Which would suck but would also be very interesting as a tv viewing. It’s not the crowd ads that much but empty grandstands would suck

If the decision was made early enough, I wonder if they would remove them. I have no idea how long it takes to disassemble those things. So, I may be talking out of my arse. If they are able to remove them, it would be cool to watch a tournament where they play in as close to a natural golf environment as you can with TV crews there.

Premier League, will be cancelled (maybe Liverpool locks up the title before then)

I'm not a huge Pool fan, but man that would suck.

They need two more wins?

Yeah, it looks like City's max point is 87. Liverpool currently have 82. So, they can have the league won by March 21st. That's crazy.

If it gets canceled after this week, that loss to Watford City is going to sting for a long time.

The Masters

Can you image waiting 20 years to finally get selected and then it gets closed off to spectators because of this. Ugh. I image they would just roll over the tickets to the next year though...

This is also why I don't feel the tennis majors will be canceled, just played in empty arenas.
you might as well cancel it at that point. Playing a major championship in a empty stadium setting is beyond retarded

Those players rely on that money. Its only the top few guys that dont actually need the money those tournaments provide

My high school coach used to say only 2 sports mattered- football and spring football.

FO would probably go on without crowds, but Wimbledon and the US Open would probably go on as normal.

Fact. They will just close the course to spectators and refund ticket prices. It was decades before anyone not in attendance saw a hole on the front 9 live, so they know how to restrict access and don't mind doing so. Add to that the Master's streaming app is the best out there year over year.

Devastating for anyone who finally won the lottery this year!

That would create some serious controversy. They refund the actual costs of tickets, but there is no requirement that the secondary market, where some real money is made/spent, would have to refund money.

This is me. Except I didn’t get tickets through the lottery so if they roll tickets to next year I won’t be in that boat.

I misread, apparently they are considering suspending the UCL AFTER the round of 16. I got it from this tweet LINK that was translated on the soccer subreddit.
