If the utes hang on to win and tcu loses tomorrow the gumps will somehow back their way in the playoff. Would be unbelievable if this happens. I will firmly believe they sold their soul to the devil if it does.

Never imagined i’d be cheering for the Trojans. They will get destroyed in playoffs but at least it keeps Gumps out.

I hate Bama as much as anyone but it’s looking like they may deserve a chance if USC loses. Bama’s 2 loses could have easily been wins. If there are any good losses, they have the best 2. Also, they would be the best matchups for any of the 3 teams in the playoffs.

I just cannot bring myself to cheer for USC. Even though I dislike Bama and Ohio State even more. Caleb Williams is playing at less than 50% right now though so barring a miracle, will have to accept the fact one of them will backdoor their way in. Disgusting.

TCU IS undefeated and would have to get throttled tomorrow to get knocked out.

But they have no good wins. And no division championship. The 1st 2-loss team to ever make it can’t on the back of a resume built literally on only “good” losses. Wins >>> losses, and Tennessee should 100% be ahead of Bama with wins over Bama and LSU. So should TCU, USC, and Utah, no matter what winds up happening in this game.
ETA—well, not Utah, I forgot they had that 3rd loss. And to clarify, I wasn’t suggesting those teams should necessarily get in the playoffs, just that they should be ranked ahead of Bama.
