Josh Johnson 3.15 ERA over 8 years with the Marlins, out of baseball at 29 as Tommy John ended his career....

Andruw freaking Jones. So nice of him to wait until he was a dodger for it to happen

Brandon Webb was a mainstay on my late 2000s fantasy teams.

Gilbert Arenas, thanks a lot Gerald Wallace. Agent 0 from 2004-2007. Watching him go into LA and drop 60 against Kobe was the ultimate alpha move. He was Harden before Harden and a lot more likeable.

Well I'm not considering Stanton since he is still playing and has a chance to add to his resume

Penny Hardaway, Bill Walton, Ralph Sampson, David Thompson

There are a ton of pitchers that got injured who could fit the bill here. I'll throw in Steve Avery as a Braves fan

Does Grant Hill fit the mold?

Tim Lincecum. Awesome 3-4 year stretch. Has multiple all star games, Cy Youngs, rings and made about 100M. Career basically over at 30..
