I believe in building a team Defense first. You need some good recruiters to pull in the skill position people.

They play no D in the Big XII, so if you can even be solid you will win a fair share of games. The year we had a Top 10 defense a couple years ago, we also had a 10 win season.

and just like was already said in this thread, bad reffing 101, screw over a team all game, make one bad call in their favor and all the sudden it can be claimed they were equally bad both ways.
Eh, WVU got the points right back on that pass as I mentioned. It's like 10 penalties for 100ish yards for WVU, 6 for 65ish for Cuse, not that big of a difference.
You aren't going to win too many games when you give up over 300 yards rushing. And Cuse's rushing totals have nothing to do with holding, despite an extra 40 yards they may or may not have gotten on that run by Gulley. The refs have sucked, but the weather and the Cuse rushing attack has been the difference in this game.
I don't care about either team really, but Cuse has been steamrolling the WVU defense.

its not how many penalties are called, its when they are/are not called.
I'm sorry but it wasnt anywhere close to even. I'm not even saying WVU would have won. The game was taken out of their hands though and thats just sad.
