I've seen balls thrown 10+ yards away from a receiver not get called. The receiver was literally one foot from the ball and they call grounding.

Oh please, the guy disengaged from his block, slipped and fell on his face which caused him to hit the guy in the leg, causing him to slip as well, hardly a tackle. And Gulley was 5 yards past the dude at that point anyway.
And regardless if you are calling that a bad call, it was no worse than Bailey straight up shoving the CB into the ground and then waltzing into the endzone and catching that TD.
That holding call was pretty iffy though, wish ESPN's sorry arse had shown some replays.

no, they were only saying all during winter, summer and early in the season how much of an upgrade WVU and Mizzou were over A&M and Mizzou.

I disagree with your assessment of that play and there was also a pretty clear hold by a lineman on an LB on that play as well.
All of that led to a 14 point swing that busted this game open.
and just like was already said in this thread, bad reffing 101, screw over a team all game, make one bad call in their favor and all the sudden it can be claimed they were equally bad both ways.

Well there is absolutely no doubt the referees suck and blow goats, but it is pretty clear that Syracuse is a better football team than West Virginia.
