The funny thing is that Rivers is a super good dude off the field, but I agree that he comes off as a prick during games.
He is a devout Catholic with a ton of kids. Speaks at conferences and stuff.

He is really religious (like almost Tebowesque) and never cusses on the field.
His trash talk is hilarious. His trash talk to Cutler in that feud years ago was just Rivers saying "atta boy" to his teammates.
He stays stuff like you are going to give us that when he gets open passes. Rivers also uses goofy arse words like golly after good plays.
I have always liked Rivers, and it is too bad that he had such a bizarre, mysterious decline where his arm just seemed to die.
I think the most poignant point is how the media portrays him. He is villain despite being a good guy just like Tebow. The hypocrisy of the unaware public is a joke.

He's a tremendous guy. He does an tremendous amount of service work. He is just a competitor and has a goofy face.
Dude really won me over when he played on one leg in that playoff game. I hope he can reinvent his game to a shorter passing type like Warner/Gannon.
